I've got a really stupid question: Did you convert the partition with the share to NTFS? Because if you did, well that may have something to do with it. Maybe not though. NTFS is SUPPOSED to translate the files so a FAT32-reading machine can read it.

Just some food for thought.

the file system used is irrelevant and not related to the network problem. and NTFS does not translate anything, it would be up to the operating system to do that job. sorry to be rude mrdinkel, but you have no idea what you are talking about
