Perform a repair on Office

Please elaborate...
How do i do this? What am i doing exactly?

1. On the Help menu in any Office program, click Detect and Repair.
2. Click Start.

Just did that. Same thing. It asks me to agree whether i'm opening the program directly or opening a document (and thus opening the program)

Are you running both office 2007 trial and word 2003? If yes remove office 2007 trial and either repair or reinstall word 2003 after the trial is removed.

I don't have office 07 trial on this computer. It came with the computer and i uninstalled it. Maybe an incomplete uninstall? How can i check? I searched my computer and checked through revo uninstaller... nothing shows up

Try completing uninstall Office, delete the program files folder after you reboot, run ccleaners reg cleaner and then reinstall Office
