I own a Sager laptop which i purchased about 4 years ago. This laptop has been in a drawer for a few years and i have recently taken it out and polished it up and got it running again. The problem i am having is when i am play a game (WoW) i get CPU spiked of 20% in timed intervals which seem to happen about every 2-3 minutes. This drops my preformance from 45fps to 9 when im not fighting anything then to 1-2 when i am in combat. the model of this particular laptop is D87P. I cannot remember the name that sager have it, i want to say 8700? Could it be a Bios update issue, which i have not done yet because i cannot find one. Specs are 3.6 GHz intel, 1.5g ddr, 160gig Hdd, and radeon 9700 mobility vid card. let me know if you guys have any help for me. Thanks!
