I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 that the administrative password is locked and so I cannot get into the bios to reformat the computer. Is there a work around to this problem?

If it is one of the 1500's made in the last 5 years, there isn't a way to clear the BIOS unless the motherboard has a jumper to clear that.
Why are you trying to format it anyways? Why do you not know the system password? Is it a hard drive lock, or a bios lock?

You don't reformat from BIOS. If BIOS is indeed locked, Dell does not assign a password to it. It has to be of your own or the previous owner's doing.
The only way to clear that, other than resetting the BIOS, is illegal and will not be posted on here.
