Laptop bootup issues

So it sounds like everything is working ok now. Check back in if it isn't.

No, it's still very finicky about when it wants to boot up. I haven't come up with a consistent way to get it to boot up (battery in or out, plugged in or not, ect) and haven't had the time to put the old memory back in to see if it always works then.

Well when you do have time, try a very systematic-style troubleshooting approach. Write some notes down, or at least take notice but try ruling out some things each time. But consistency is the key.
