HELPPPPPPPPP!! Trouble with built-in webcam!!!!

Hey guys, for some reason my laptop webcam won't work for msn and online stuff like that, like it shows up with just a black screen, but it works fine when i turn on my webcam software.. :S what could be the problem..? I don't really know anything about computers lol and I really need to get my webcam up and running so i can talk to my relatives who are overseas, please help me!

Oh and it used to work fine but it's stopped working just recently :S

Have you tried the "Audio and Video Setup" on MSN? Click on tools -> audio and video setup. Go through the setup and make sure your camera is set, see if that helps.
