I have a Dell Inspiron 9300 with a GeForce 6800 Go... had it for about 2-3 years now running beautifully and just recently it kept blue screening...
the cause was a video driver (which i think is a video driver) nv4_mini.sys
after a lot of screaming and hair pulling i formatted the pc and reinstalled (i lost my restore cd... i know i'm an idiot) and now i have no nvidia drivers on my puter and can't do anything about it... everytime i try to install driver packages i get a lightning fast BSOD and immediate reboot without getting a chance to read the new blue screen. same happens when i try to install the drivers in vga and safe mode... any suggestions?
i've just wasted 2 weeks of prepaid time on WoW and its killin me i want to do more on my computer other than turn it on and stare at my background.
