Question US Hardware OK To Use?

Are US hardware items such as video cards,sound cards etc ok to use in Australia.Prices on the internet are much cheaper than here in OZ.I want to buy several items from US,but want to make sure first

it would end up cheaper, even after the currency difference and the shipping cost but it is hard to find any computer shops in the US that ship here

they are sooo cheap. like apokalipse said there are only a few who ship to Australia or Europe. And they are not always the cheapest.
