Default RAM question again...YAY!

Well, I am still debating on whether to get 1 gig of RAM or 2 gigs of RAM. I'm building a gaming PC. I was told that 1 gig of RAM would get me through anything and it's a piece of cake. Plus, ocing it would really help. But Matrix ONline recommends 1 gig of RAM.

So the question I have is should I go over the recommendation and get 2 gigs? Or will 1 gig do perfectly fine?
