Default New Hard Drive

Hello

I am looking for a new hard drive and I have not specifically selected one yet. I have a friend who has had problems with maxtor drives in the past so I might avoid them. I would find it very helpful if you guys could suggest some good makes to me.

At the moment Samsung or Western Digital looks good but I am not sure about Hitachi drives.

Basicly what I am looking for is something between £50-£100 SATA 8MB Cache, 7200rpm,Fast access time etc. Are their any other important things to consider especially regarding a machine which I use largely for gaming.

Thank you

Check what out?

WD is your best bet. Seagate is also very good.

MAXTOR???

I don't trust Maxtor anymore; their drives are not reliable enough. You never know what you're gonna get with them.
