Default how to burn ppt to dvd

first off, i knwo this is the wrong forum, but this is major urgent and this is the most popular forum. sorry for any hurt feelings.

anyways, i need to play a powerpoint presentation in a dvd player. i've tried burning it to a cd and dvd but neither of them worked. how do i make it so i can just play it straight off the cd/dvd and play it directly from the dvd player? do i need to burn it as an iso or what?

i have nero for burning in windows and k3b for burning in linux.

thanks!!

also, the ppt will have audio in it, and the way ppt works is it saves the audio file as a seperate file from the ppt.
