Driver help!

hey guys, my buddy got battle feild 2 and it said when he started up the game for best preformance download the latest drivers, so he went to nvidia.com and im not sure which driver he downloaded but now his CS: Source does not work, it says he does not have direct X of 7 or older installed.

So i figure he downloaded some old driver and put it on top of his current one giving it an older version of direct X.

I cant find the uptodate driver so if any of u could please take the trouble to find it for my freind and post it here i would greatly appreciate it.

His card is Gforce FX5700LE 256mb card.

Assuming he has XP or 2000 pro:http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_77.72.html

There are also drivers on the BF2 disk that he can instal (which was the only thing that would let me play it on high, as it takes it back to medium when I re-load the game.)


If you go to microsoft you can download the latest Direct X 9.0C
