Question computer hardware???

hey i was wondering if any one knows where i were to buy hardware for a computer. im thinking of building my own. i know it says im a virgin techie or w/e it says but im really not. but yea im just looking for a place to buy hardware. now u all dont need to do this but if any one lives in brownsville texas could u let me know where and if u did buy hardware. if not, then perferably online where i could mail order. sorry its so long!!!!
