Default Clawhammer or Sledgehammer?

Hello, i am going to be buying the FX-55, but i found 2 different processors. The one on zipzoomfly is $825 and is a Sledgehammer core, while the one on newegg is $895 but has a Clawhammer core...obviously i save money using zipzoomfly, but which core is better and what are the differences?

Thanks in advance, Nick

Well all I know is the Slegehammer has a limit temp of 75 and the Claw is 85. I don't know which one naturally runs cooler but I have a slege,

Athlon FX on sledge Hammer, looks impossible. as Sledge Hammer is Opetron Core versions.

whilst all FX series are on Clawhammers.

Don't quote me but I think you are wrong on this one.

Hell, the FX-57 is whinchester as well

I would research both these cores through google and decide if you will be able to overclock one bettter or not.
