Default SATA Question

Can you put a SATA 1.5g in a motherboard that only has 3g support? I'm building a computer with this
motherboard and I want to use this hard drive, will this work?

aaah... the HDD you linked to says its 3.0G Sata interface, same as the Mobo.

anyway, i believe both HDD and Motherboard supporting 3.0g Sata is backward compatable with 1.5g sata.

yes it will work, pretty much all SATA drives (SATA and SATA2) will work on all SATA interfaces (SATA and SATA2)
