Default Hard drive issues

Good morning,
Well today, I was messing around w/ my laptop and I pulled out the HD to see the what the specs was and see if it was an PATA or SATA interface. The reason is because I am planning on upgrading to a higher capacity HD.

When I put the HD back in and started the computer, the boot screen popped up and it said, NMYTD is compressed. Press control/start/delete to restart.

Well, I cannot figure out what I am suppose to do. Can you please advise.

Try going into BIOS, and see if the boot order is correct. Might be booting of something else than the drive.

Also make sure everything like flash drives/floppys/CD's are removed. Its silly but we have all done it and scratched our heads.

Though I have never heard of this NMYTD error before.
