Graphic Driver Issue

so i installed the latest official nvidia driver for my card (geforce 6800), and after the reboot to fully install the driver it works fine. but if i reboot my computer after this it will get to the desktop, everything boots up fine, and then my monitor will only display these strange yellow lines that kind of twitch around. after this my monitor will go black..so i will reboot my computer again and the same thing will happen. to fix it i have to boot in safe mode and reinstall the driver and it works fine again until i reboot once the drivers are fully installed.. what is going on here?

Rollback to the previous version. Uninstall the drivers from safe mode and run Driver Cleaner Pro.
