Default What type of RAM?

I am planning on building a new computer, and i was wondering what type of RAM would be the best, I was looking for what i could get for less than 200? Also, it would be for Vista. If there is already a current thread on which i could see, just link. Thanks for your help.

Sorry I misread your post the first time. I recommend these though if you are on a tight budget. I have them in my rig. Great quality, good for overclocking, and 2gb is enough for Vista.

Newegg.com - G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail

he never said he really needed Overclocking RAM:

Newegg.com - A-DATA Extreme Edition 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail

thats assuming you need ddr2 800

Newegg.com - G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail

if u still have DDR like me

well i'm building the computer from scratch. So i am also interested in looking for motherboards. If there is a website that could explain the differences or one of you that would be fantatastic, also if there is a thread that has all of this just link me.

I would recommend that you start a new thread asking for help on the entire build.

Say what your budget is, what you want the computer for, what you need (like if your budget includes monitor, OS, etc), and you should get a lot of help.
