not sure what you mean by that ny I kinda wanna build this one. Btw I was thinking about upgrading the gpu to the gtx 295, would I have to upgrade the psu and the mobo?

Nah, that PSU and mobo will handle the GTX 295 perfectly.

Im thinking about switching the ram to this, timing is a little slower, but its cheaper. Any reason i shouldnt?

Sorry to bump my old thread but im going to be home in a couple weeks, and i wanted to clear up i switched the GPU to the 295, but its out of stock right now. I want to change the HDD's to maybe 1/ 1.5tb hd(Any suggestions) and ive decided im going to try a little overclocking, nothing extreme, so should get some air cooling thinking about getting this ( Newegg.com - COOLER MASTER V8 RR-UV8-XBU1-GP 120mm Rifle CPU Cooler - CPU Fans & Heatsinks ) ? Also is the MOBO good for OC'ing? Im going to get the keyboard and mouse from a local store, should i do the same for the monitor? or is it ok to just go off the one from newegg?


Again i only have a couple weeks left until im home. Also for the OS should i hold off on buying the vista 64 until they announce the free upgrade to windows 7? Also for the GPU how long until you think the 300 series are released because if its not going to be that far off should i hold off and maybe go with the 265 core 216?
