This board officially supports 8GB in 4x2 config so I doubt highly your RAM is of issue. You need to have both sticks of RAM in the yellow slots and your GPU in the blue slot. If this doesn't work and your RAM was previously working before then your GPU probably isn't working properly to allow a post. Drivers aren't required for post.
