You should have a sheet of paper that came with each product saying something about the warranty and RMA's.

You call either newegg or the manufacturer to arrange an RMA and most of the time they PAY for shipping.

call them up tell them its defective and they will give you a pre-paid shipping label to send it back for free.

so basically, its gonna be like 3 weeks til i have a new one, all the while not even sure if it was the mobo that was dead the whole time? lol

It won't take 3 weeks...try 3 days to ship back...1-2 to confirm the RMA, and another 3 days to get a new board so around a week tops.
