Do the AMD CPU's (more specfically: AM2 3200+) come with any sort of thermal paste/pad?

and to remove the stock thermal paste your gonna need isopropyl, preferablly above 80%, or it leaves oily residue.

Yes, only if you buy them "retail". That's the keyword. They will come with thermal pads on the bottom of the heatsink. The new heatsinks use copper heatpipes which are real good.

yup just monitor your temps. I'm using the stock HSF with some AS5 and it's OCd to 2.4 ghz and temps are just fine.

I'd need to remove the thermal pad first to apply AS5 right?

Yes, that is correct. Please do not use more than one type of thermal compound on your CPU.
