Also I chose GT over the GTS b/c the ECS GTS is 219 again plus idk if thats a good brand anyways.

LITE-ON DVD Burner - Newegg.com - LITE-ON Black 20X DVD+R 8X DVD+RW 8X DVD+R DL 20X DVD-R 6X DVD-RW 12X DVD-RAM 16X DVD-ROM 48X CD-R 32X CD-RW 48X CD-ROM 2MB Cache SATA 20X DVD±R DVD Burner - CD / DVD Burners ($23.99)

get the TX-2, NZXT Thermal Paste, get the Cheapest 8800gt on Newegg, I guess you could drop to a EP35-DS3R and still be able to get to 3.6ghz

do you need more space. u can get a 16MB 320GB for $70.

cheaper PSU Newegg.com - CORSAIR CMPSU-650TX 650W ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply 100 - 240 V UL, CE, CB, TUV, FCC, CCC - Power Supplies

for that price of the 8800GT u can get a better GPU and cheaper Newegg.com - ECS N8800GTS-512MX GeForce 8800GTS (G92) 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards

this cheaper thermal grease is cheaper and almost the same as the mx-2 Newegg.com - Tuniq TX-2 Thermal Compound - Thermal Compound / Grease

maybe a gigabyte p35 mobo

to Prototype - That PSU is $5 more then the one I picked and that GTS might have a nice Mail in rebate but its $40 more then the GT. I am already over budget = \. But Is that 64 bit Home Premium just an upgrade from 32 bit or is it just straight 64 bit? because I do plan to go to 4 GB when I get the cash.

64 bit will allow you to use the full 4 gig of ram, 32 bit will recognize 4gig - what your video card is so 4096 - 512

3584 (or 3.5 gig)

Get 64. Find some extra cash ^_^
