I was talking about your case. The stock fans in the 600t aren't the greatest.

so i got the card... what an absolute BEAST, im running battlefield 3 at absolute max everything at about 60fps, average... lowest ive seen was 52 and highest was around 86... just incredible... these are the offical benchmarks and comparisons i took before i changed the cards out, i couldnt get BF3 to work with my cards, so thats why it isnt included, its also the biggest reason i switched to the 680...

but this is what ive experienced...

Benchmarks:

Farcry 3:
6970CF
Average FPS: 40fps
max system dba: 56dba

680
average FPS: 72fps
max system dba: 44

Crysis 2:
6970CF
Average FPS 45
max dba: 55dba
GTX680
Average FPS 90
max dba: 43dba

CPU & GPU temps, Crysis 2 roadrage map full play through

ambient: 20
6970cf
cpu average idle: 50.5 ( 30.5 delta )
cpu average load: 77 ( 57 delta )
6970cf
GPU idle: 52 ( 32 delta )
GPU load: 68 ( 48 delta )

680
cpu average idle 43.5(23.5 delta )
cpu average load 70.5 (50.5 delta )

You get about the same average that I do with a 580.

By the way, you put in the OP 6950, and in that post 6970.
