Default Question about upgrading Mobo/Cpu

I have a socket A MOBO and Cpu(duh) and want to get a new mobo and cpu.

i was wondering when i install the new mobo and cpu will my computer work the way it was?\


like, do i have to mess around with BIOS or anything?

i just upgrade from a socket A a few days ago and i didnt have to mess with the bios except when i was just browsing around.

bios is the basic information for the mobo to communicate with the hardware so that it can boot properly and it also allows configurations to be made to the hardware.

I think of it as a really small operationg system, but thats just me
