nvm, am speaking with a tech support agent right now

it reqs. a 1k watt power supply

I have a 375 watt..

I think the Dell power supply has about 30amps on the 12V.

Don't listen to that tech, he doesn't know what he's talking about. You don't need a 1k watt power supply.

a good fortron 450w is more than enough.....

also an X1950xt can be overclocked to XTX speeds really easily..

well, i don't think im exactly "advanced" enough to Overclock yet.. I don't completely know what I'm doing here.

Video Card overclocking is really easy.. get a program called ATITool and raise the slider... and hit ok... and it overclocks

well, the last thing I really need is my gpu melting to my motherboard.

But Oc'ing to the side for a minute, I still need help finding a GPU that my PSU can support =[.

don't worry its compatible...


as for it "melting" thats not gonna happen, just don't over do it...

but people just keep complaining about the high temps on the 8800's... but thats the card... nothing wrong with their system... it naturally runs hot (goes up to 80's on Load) (just a heads up)
