So I’m 55 and have worked in IT for over 30 years moving from developer to systems manager to user support to problem manager. I now lead a team of project managers deploying changes to a couple of massive databases.
Since my system manager days, I’m largely out of touch with the nitty gritty but my new year resolution for 2023 is to get to grips with Linux (in VMs on my Mac) and C++ and Python. I’ve got the VMs installed but not really done much else yet
