Alright thanks guys. So i definitely need a new psu.
Ill get the one you linked so thats $100 off.

Aside from the ones posted above, what can i get for say, $300-$400 range?

Trotter, ya, i figured i needed better ram first so i got that covered =P.

Also, i have minimal hardware installation knowledge. I assume installing psu+video card is a bit like installing ram? as in, if it fits it goes there, if it doesn't it doesn't....>_<

Both are very simple. Basically, you put the new in in reverse order you take the old out. The video card will require messing with drivers but that's no biggie.

great. i think you said you had already upgrade your ram correct?

well around $200 more would be going towards a new gfx card. that would leave $200. you could think about upgrading your monitor also.

edit: if you need help with installing hardware, take a look at this. credit goes to Slaymate who suggested this on another thread.

Stay with the Corsair. The Zalman is not worth an extra $110.
