Im @ college and every music download site i try is dissabled... any ideas or directions you guys can point me in??? any way around it??? (moderator im not tryin to get in trouble)

Do you mean downloading the music download client, or going to the download site for the client? Or something totally different?!

when i go onto ares and stuff it wont load anymore, can schools disable sites based on content?

are you using your pc? because you won't have much of a chance on the school stuff. if you are using the schools internet on your pc or something like that then it may be able to block the type of connection required for the p2p software.

If your school has these sites and their downloads blocked, that means you are not supposed to do it on their network.

Bottom line... obey the rules and get over it. Downloading over these sites is 99.99% illegal anyway, so you shouldn't even be bothering with it.

Spring for the album, or buy the songs you like through iTunes or one of the many other legit online music stores.
