I just picked up a 50" Hitachi 3LCD Projection Television, for only like $999 w/ a 3 year protection plan for an extra $300 (thats pretty good considering a bulb for this thing is around $200 and I can request a new bulb around the end of the plan)

That looks like a really good price for that HP TV, only like 2 grand.
I'm frickin poor so when I moved out I bought this:

I think it was on sale for like $240, only standard def but at least it's got a digital tuner. When i grow up I'm getting that 100" panasonic that's like $60k and sticking it in my bathroom. Just you watch
