What's your favorite Spyware killer program? And, if you use more than one, which ones do you use?

It doesn't matter for the poll if you use the free or pay versions.

Dave :D

and these two

IE-SPYAD puts over 5000 sites in your restricted zone, so you'll be protected when you visit innocent-looking sites that aren't actually innocent at all.

The IE hosts file blocks ads, banners, cookies, web bugs, and even most hijackers. This is accomplished by blocking the Server that supplies these little gems.

Ad-aware is a good free program--just upgraded to Norton Systemworks 2004 so we found the spyware were coming from schoolpop... norton is better but costs $

It doesn't cost much if you buy it off ebay! I got norton systemworks 2003 for like 10 bucks. Yes it's legal, its just oem. Nothing but a sealed cd.

Spyware Sweeper does fine for me, I downloaded "Spyware nuker" that turned out to be spyware :(

I use a combination of Spybot Search & Destroy and Ad-Aware, with a copy of HijackThis! for those pesky problems.

I have seen lots of PCs with SpyHunter on it, but they also seem to be owned by people still with spy ware problems. So I do question SpyHunter's effectiveness.

I use Adaware 6.0, Spybot S&D, and A squared. I'm starting to question whether A squared is a program that is worth it to have even though it was recommended. It's just so much slower then Spybot S&D and Adaware. Anyone else tried this program? Oh, I also use Spyware Blaster, stops spyware before it can even get onto your system.

I use Ad-aware 6.x Pro, and that thing that comes with it Ad-Watch. No-Problems so far. Looking at its Log you see how much malicious stuff there is out there :S. Scary, *Shivers*

ad-aware hands down. actully it's the only one i tryed because m$ reccomended it. i've installed it on several machines. one person was trying to manually delete the spyware and it got rid of most of the porn ads on vaio.com but then i downloaded ad-aware and now they want to pay me or something :D

i voted for Hijack this because its a really powerful tool that gets rid of a lot of spyware, and adaware and Spybot and variants usually dont help me this much.

Maybe it is a bit too powerfull but still good :D
