this is really annoying me, i have read both that mshta.exe is a program used to read hypertext applications, no clue what that is, and also that its a dailer....either way a new mshta.exe starts up in my process every 20 secs or so, meaning i have about 150 of em after an hour. i have and run norton 2005, spybot search destroy, and realmon from ca, some else on a dif forum had a simliar problem and said it sent them to motor-search.com, i often get sent to that site but i am not sure its mshta doing it. does anyone know how i can get rid of this thing!?!?!?!

I looked through a few sites who all say these are the steps to remove this.

# Start the registry editor. This is done by clicking Start then Run. (The Run dialog will appear.) Type regedit and click OK. (The registry editor will open.)
# Browse to the key:
'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Run'
# In the right pane, delete the value called 'SystemBoot', if it exists.
# Exit the registry editor.
# Restart your computer.
# Start Windows Explorer and delete:
C:\Show.hta
C:\Live_Show.hta
