You can *make* WinME work very well for you if you keep it clean and update with all the security/critical patches from MS.

Stay away from the P2P programs. Scan regularly with your installed virus scanner and with the anti scanners such as Adaware SE and Spybot Search&Distroy.

Empty Temps and Temp Internet Files and cookies on a regular basis.
