xp home to join domain

Is there a proper way to join a laptop that has xp home on it to a domain without all kinds of issues. I see these websites out there, but I don't much about this stuff and not sure if that is should I say....legal?

Windows XP Home simply doesn't have that feature. I found a few sites that talk about using some type of third-party application to accomplish this, but I don't know if it's legal or what other issues you'd run into.

If you need a computer on a domain, you should install Windows XP Pro.
