wireless network
here r the facts:
1) first pc is compaq 1.86 dual corp, 3 gb ram, VISTA HOME PREMIUM ON IT.
2) have dlink di524 wireless router hooked up to it.
3) can use net fine on first pc.
4) have second pc downstairs.
5) it is a pentium 3 650, 128mb ram.
6) os is w2k sp4.
7) network adapter is an airlink awll3028.
8) i get more then 80% signal strength, and link quality.
9) i am able to use net on second pc for about 3/5 minutes.
10) then i just can't.
11) i have tried double checking everything.
12) now power saver settings active.
13) tried changing gateway ip, and router channel; no luck.
14) have to keep rebooting second pc to get it to reconnect to net.
15) on the airlink soft on second pc...ip, subnet mask, and gateway are
fully recognized.
16) the isp is a motorola cable modem.

i am at a total loss to explain what is going on.
