Hi Guys
I want to know what kind of cable i should use for hooking up for wireless internet? can I use the catv6 18awg cable or R-59 for the hook up?

last time i checked, you did not cable to hook up wireless internet. That is the whole point of WIRELESS. But if your talking about hooking the router to the modem, use Cat5

I am not 100% sure, i have not worked with wifi antennas that big before. Sorry.
but anyways what are you trying to do with that antenna? like supply a whole town with internet.

I don't know if that antenna has a male or female end on it, but you'll need a cable similar to this:

Have you thought about how you're going to be hooking it up to the computers? Wireless bridges? or Wireless NIC's?

The reason I ask it because you'll also need a pigtail to go from the cable to the bridge or NIC, similar to this:

Be carefule about male and femail. The cable that I found on that website was both ends male, and the pigtail is male. Means that you would need a male to female barrel.

Also, I think you're getting ripped off if you buy from that place. They are charging $99 for that parabolic antenna, and I can't find the dB gain on it anywhere on the page.

As a piece of advice, check out this website:

I used to work for a place that is doing exactly what your trying to start. These are the products that we used. Didn't have many problems, and have had some installed since 1999.
