Lost Network Connection and Lag....

I recently finished building my own computer, and was basking in it's glory until... I realized that the Internet connection is really temperamental. My laptop always used to stay connected to the wireless network at my house, and strongly, too, but now, sometimes I'm on, sometimes the network kicks me, and now, as of today, I can get on my games, but after about thirty seconds, I get a Network Connection Interrupted Icon and get kicked from the game, but my internet is still working fine, i.e., I can still browse it and talk to people on teamspeak, just cannot play the games! GAHHH I built the computer to be faster, not faster with no Internet! Any suggestions?

What make of wirless card are you using?
Try connecting using Ethernet cable to your router or switch. Just to confirm its an issue with your card and not a firewall/software problem.
