I recently bought a D-LINK DWL G510 wireless adapter. The Router seems to work fine, but when I was setting it up, under The D-Link properties I had no Network options. I called the service provider, he had me uninstall and reinstall the driver. All of sudden, the adapter could pick up the network and under properties I had Network options.

However, everytime I reboot or shut down and start up the computer, my adapter losses all functionality. Not only does it not pick up the home network, but under properties I have zero network options. The tab is just.......well, gone.

The only way I can remedy it is by re-installing the drivers each and everytime I turn on the computer. We also installed a Linksys wireless adapter on a computer in the other room and it works fine.

I'm running Windows XP and my computer is fairly new. 1 gig of ram and I'm not 100 percent sure what the processor is, but it's high enough I think.

Can anyone help? or if you need more information, please respond.
