Soundcard Installation

OS: Redhat Linux 9 dualboot WinME

Soundcard: Aztech Sound Galaxy Washington 16

Problems: Linux cannot detect soundcard
Dont have a Linux driver for it
I need to get it to work

Look at the chipset on the card itself........then look for it in /etc/rc.d/rc.modules or equivalent for your distro.Uncomment the appropriate line...........

May use a soundblaster 16 driver,dunno for sure,that description isnt present in my listing of my distro.You may have to try a few,or search for a source and maybe even compile it.I didint lok to see if alsa supports it,but I doubt if it does.

just need a compatible hardware for it. whatever that is. i also need some help with the installation.
