No CE isn't Combat Evolved 
Well its not really a mod, its just a version of Halo that is all multiplayer based and it has the ability to play user created maps and objects from places like www.halomaps.org or www.levels4you.com . To get it it's a simple download, just google it, and you need to enter your Halo PC cd key when installing it but if you don't have Halo PC or a cd key you can just find one off google(I'm not suggesting anything illegal) It's basically just Halo without the Campaign or bungie/gearbox starting intros. Some of the maps people make are soooooo fun to play, I just downloaded one that has Halo 2 like features and thats not the only one they have like that, another map I downloaded has a "full size" soccer field and a ball with Warthogs lined up on each side. Wow is that fun, lol.
