GTA4 and its CPU intensive needs

Yeah I m using 8.12 so it SHOULD be working. But its not, its odd cause it works well in COD5.

It more then doubled my framerates. Guess the extra 512 GDDR3 really helped.
 
8.12 wasnt really intended to have performance improvements in GTA4, GTA4 just came out right before 8.12 did. Wait for 8.13, that should have improvements for GTA4 definitely.

lol well there goes the hole download 8.12 thing on the gta game start up. that is one thing i do like tho is the start menu notifying you of updates.

trust me guys, there will or should be fixes definitely in 8.13 for this game. GTA4 NEEDS FOOD BADLY! (Gauntlet).

So my bro is buying me a new PSU. But soon I will be getting the last component I need to complete my Dragon Platform.

Hopefully I should notice an increase in FPS once I get the 940. Even my 7750+ (at stock) gave me like a 5+ FPS gain over my 4800+@3.2ghz.

upgrade to two 4850's at least if ur gonna game, or one 4870, 1GB.
