getting a new game

i want to get a new computer game thats under $30.
So far i have half life 2 and farcry. I've tried the halo,painkiller ,doom3, tribes:vengence and UT2004 demos and didnt really like those games. UT2004 was the best though.
Any suggestions?


PS -I like action games. Games that have a big multiplayer community is cool too.

i do not know if you like stragety games but warcraft 3 is good.

Half Life 2.

If you buy Half Life 2 which is a massive online game and one of the best made SinglePlayer games you also get a free copy of Counter Strike Source which is even bigger online game then Half Life 2. Massive.


If you don't want any of them you can buy another game and get an online massive multiplayer game for free which is America's Army.

Try Battlefield 1942,a great online massive multiplayer action/war game. It's old now so you should be able to get it for under $30. Loads of people still play it. Be warned though it's highly addictive.

I have to agree. Although battle field 1942, vietnam and the call of duty games own most other FPS, i cant say ive ever liked any FPS more than CS:S, not even half life 2 DM stands a chance.
But thats just "MY" opinion
