Just upgraded...now DVDs don't play!!

Hey, I just got my Celeron 2.8 upgraded to an Athlon 64 3000+, but now I can't play DVDs! Before I sent my computer to the store to be upgraded, I watched Napoleon Dynamite, and it worked fine. Now, when I try to play a movie, it gives me a message about my screen resolution and colour settings, but even when I change them to the lowest settings, the DVD still does not work!! I tried a different DVD to see if it was just the disc, but that one didn't work either. Please help.

Oh, and I don't have a videocard.

Some more info would be nice, like system specs.
