Unhappy avi movie audio problem???please help

i have a movie in avi and play it on meda player the beginning of the movie is fine but when i get about half way through it the audio goes out of wack with the movie .is there anyway i can fix this ???

What are your specs?
Try clicking the seek slider, keep it at the same position.

its like a movie that has been dubbed but the first half is fine ?

o.k i have tried that (holding the slider ) and it did not work any more suggestions also would converting it to something else fix it ?
