Hi,

I recently moved into a new house and the previous owners left a security camera set up.

It seems to only have one cable going in/out and it ends in the house as a 6 pin Mini-DIN connector. So I'm assuming it is powered over the same cable we use to see the video.

My problem is I don't know how to connect to it, I've been searching the internet and can't find any information on it.

It is sat on top of a pretty high pole so I have been unable to get close enough to look for a make/model so I can't contact the company for support.

Any help you guys can give will be appreciated.

The 6 pin Mini-DIN connector is commonly used for mice and keyboards so I'm thinking your camera is a propriety device that will only work with the manufacturers equipment. But I'm not really up on this sort of thing so I could be wrong.

They make 6 PIN DIN to RCA adapters, I would get that and hook it up to a duplexer and to either just a monitor or a monitor and a DVR system.
