Question CPU stress test?

What program is best for giving bench marks on the cpu and other stuff on my machine? PC mark5 gives errors

intelburntest is the best. It will heat the cpu up about 10C hotter than even prime.

Your chip is a Brisbane. You basically get the same performance I do with my X2 4800+@3.2ghz.

The newer K10 and K10.5 chips are the chips that should be turning heads. Even though K10 Quads are not that great. It seems K10 Dual Cores are decent chips.

not saying its a good stress test, but you could try 3DMark06 instead of 05

if you cant make it thru 06 without a crash, then i would have to say your not stable with the stock HS @ 3.2

+1 do the intel burn in test to test a high overclock and see if it's overheating.

Stresses the system as much as or more than Intel Burn Test since it uses 100% of the CPU the whole time as well as running hard disks, CD/DVD drives and 50% of available RAM.
