I have a budget of 4000 USD and live on the east coast. I want a gaming laptop but not to over kill. Please email me or list types and places to get one.
Even if Aliemware does tend to be pricey (and thier company is suffering currently since their sales are way down) they are the only choice I know of when it comes to high end gaming on a laptop.
that IS NOT a gaming laptop it is far from it
psp_crazy1 do not post about things u dont know about
that thing only had a core_solo and a 5400 rpm hard drive
the alienware has SLI and just about everything you'd ever want in a laptop

dude that can handle games
my 512 mb ddr pc 4200 ram
530J (has far more pipelines then the c2d D
and x1600pro
CPU Type Intel Core Duo T2500(2.0GHz)
theres c2d core duo and core solo
now yes sli would be better but i think thats better because id like to get ready with the future with core duo and blu ray
and sony computers are nice, not to say that alienwares arent....
the alienware would still have better performance
blu-ray would be nice but its not worth getting a lower quality laptop for
and he has 4000 dollars to spend so he should get the best of the best

PSP you have no idea do you? A Core Duo wont really help you much in games if its lagged behind by not enough ram, a slow HD and a 7600GT. That Alienware will eat your laptop for dinner, throw it up and have it for lunch the next day. Period. Also that Sony has Media Center edition which isnt that great for games either. IT works yes, but not the best. Also, why recomend a desktop when he SPECIFICALY asked for a GAMING LAPTOP.
