help with aim

My aim recently startred to crash and close a few minutes after i opend it. i tried re installing it but the same things occuered. Can some one help me or recommend another instant messeging program?

I recommend Trillian it's what I use.

Reinstall an older verision at www.oldversion.com . I bet your machine has spyware cause it comes with the new versions. I would run a spyware scan and a virus scan. See my sig for the links. Let us know what happens please.
