NT4 to Active Directory

Currently we are running NT4 doamins, but are slowly moving over to active directory. The thing I am conserned about is people's profiles on their machines. When switching over to AD, it create a whole new profile. I know there are some tools in XP and such, but I just wanted to get some feed back from people that have done this change over.

The thing is, not everyone is running XP, there are also people running 2000 and a few even on 98 (they refuse to upgrade heh). Is there a simple way of doing this? Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Well with some testing, I found the easiest way to do it is to change the Domain to the new AD server, reboot, login as the user so it makes the profile (username.Domain) then log off and login as the local admin. What you want to do now is to go into Document and Settings (or Profiles) and rename the new profile to username.domain.temp or whatever you'd like and rename the OLD profile to username.domain.
