It was a second hand drive and downloaded the drives off the internet. I was using Microsoft media player to burn a music CD, but I couldn't copy an image to the file like I can with my Zip drive either.

E ekÆsine Fully Optimized Messages 3,937 Dec 3, 2003 #5 second hand drive? i would bet it is partially broken which is why you cannot burn anything. there is nothing to set for you to burn, all you need is burning software.
